Rishon hooked me up with this program, called Alias, that is worlds better to draw with than photoshop for my storyboard homework. Its very basic and doesn't take up much room at all on my pc yay. Of course I couldn't resist trying it out for some non-academic reasons. The program is great for the homework I do but not so much if you wanted to paint something in it. The controls for painting are clumsy and the layers system leave me missing photoshop. Perhaps it would be better to draw in here save it as a png and than import it into photoshop....sorry just thinking out loud. I can't believe I drew this so fast with such sure lines. The lines don't draw out all squiggly like they do on photoshop so I don't have to speed a lot of time retracing lines so that they are straight. This is about a 15 minute job if you don't count the time I spent getting used to the coloring system.
