My sister and I were talking about an old anime we watched called "Fushigi no Umi no Nadia" or Nadia: The Secret of Blue water. While we were talking I acted out for her an idea I had about if the character Jean flipped his you know what during one of the many times he and Nadia were castaways in the Atlantic Ocean. My sister found my idea of comparing Grandis and her crew to Team Rocket humorous and I drew this. Grandis that red headed control freak could be Jesse's Great great great grandmother!
And as a last note, Jean reminds me of Jeremie... possibly because not only is he french, wears huge glasses, and is selflessly helping a girl he just met rediscover her past, but also because he is a genius child and inventor.
I know, that guy even looks like a dark haired Jeremy. This is so funny, I often think about many animes and how certain characters could get frustrated beyond reason, but I've never seen this one before...perhaps I should check it out sometime.
How dare you mention the Fools like that! Next thing we know, they'll be invading Kadic and try to steal everything in sight. Not that they'd succeed or anything, but they're too persistent! They'd probably try hundreds of times, and even then I doubt they'd quit.
And as a side note, I've never heard of the anime, but your drawing proves a point. Jean really DOES look like Jeremie...maybe he could be one of his ancestors.
(Oh, and don't mind my rambling about the Rocket Fools. I've been watching too much Pokémon.)

This life we live shall soon be past, only what's done for Christ shall last
It would be great to see a pic of Jeremie/Aelita together with Jean/Nadia tough, Hmmmm, now that would be something.

Don't you wish there were a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence? There's one marked "brightness," but it doesn't work.
