One more 1930s picture, this time actually colored. I got Yumi and Ulrich at the lively night club called "The Green Monkey." If you are wondering about the name, there is a bar nearby where I dwell in San Jose and it's called the Blue Monkey. I've never been inside or actually seen it when it was open, but I thought it was a cool name for a place and so I made my own spin off it. Anyway, Ulrich, as part of the Private Eye occupation, is staking out this club for a seedy character. My sister took a look at this pic and asked me why Ulrich brought the "secretary" (Yumi) along on a potentially dangerous mission? Well, it looks weird for a gentleman to be at a club all by himself and it's helpful since now he doesn't have to worry about beating off women with a stick while investigating. A good reason to bring Yumi along. That's one reason, the other is that she's back up in case something goes wrong. No one ever suspect the pretty girl to strong arm ya, heh.
the guy with the blue tux and brown hair in the backroud reminds me of odd...XD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
